At present, there are roughly two mainstream car film that can be used for color change, one is PVC color change film, and the other is color TPU car cover PPF. Although they are all color changes, there are still big differences among them.

Difference 1: Different materials. The car ppf is made of TPU, while the color changing film is made of PVC. Because of the TPU material, PPF has many functions such as scratch resistance, repair, corrosion resistance, yellowing resistance, and oxidation resistance; these are not available in the color changing film made of PVC material.

Difference 2: The manufacturing process is different. The coating, base material, and glue of the car PPF colored TPU are extremely demanding, and the requirements for the manufacturing process are also more strict, while the manufacturing difficulty of the color changing film is relatively much lower.

Difference 3: The quality assurance is different. The warranty for TPU PPF is generally more than five years at present, while the warranty for color changing films is usually two to five years.
